主裡差傳伙伴:

感恩慧嫦已經完成了大部份在加州的述職任務，十分感謝不同教會給予分享的機會，我們也感到十分高興能與眾弟兄姊妹在不同聚會中彼此交通。

你們的代禱，對我們的關心和支持實在溫暖了我們的心窩！在今次述職中，不少肢體向我們表示想計劃探訪厄瓜多爾的瓜亞基爾工場，這都使我們得著激勵！似乎神正在為這宣教工場動員，若主推動更多短宣隊去支援瓜亞基爾的事工，求主幫助我們能與不同的短宣隊有更美好的配搭，並親自賜下指引！另一方面，健民在過去兩個月留守瓜亞基爾工場服事，靠著主的恩典並當地弟兄姊妹的配搭協助，一切事工都能如常舉行，為此讚美主！

慧嫦十月底在灣區述職時，突然收到有關她的媽媽在洛杉磯，因膝蓋關節嚴重發炎，非常疼痛，完全不能走路，需緊急入院的消息。感謝主！經過兩天在醫院的治療，已無大礙，並已轉往療養院作物理治療，請記念她的康復並下一步的安排事宜。

我們現正在香港述職，特別謝謝中信海外差傳部派出同工，組成差傳支援短宣隊前往瓜亞基爾服事，我們才可以一起回到香港作述職分享。我們除了在不同教會分享差傳事工外，也把握機會與眾親友為健民的媽媽，慶祝其90歲大壽，這是主的額外恩典。

代禱事項：

請為正在瓜亞基爾服事（12/5-1/9）的差傳支援短宣隊禱告，當地天氣炎熱，求主幫助他們有好的適應並祝福他們的服事。為他們每週恆常的服事，如講道，領詩，探訪，以及在12月底帶領一個為期兩天的英語兒童活動禱告，求主加恩加力給他們。
請繼續記念我們餘下在香港，並慧嫦在洛杉磯的述職行程。慧嫦計劃在1月7日凌晨返抵厄瓜多爾工場;健民則會在1月17日才返抵，因他需要往臺灣辦理重要文件事宜。
感恩已經有四隊短宣隊落實了將在2020年到瓜亞基爾服事，求主帶領並賜我們智慧作統籌，好讓我們與主並短宣隊有美好的配搭。
請為香港的情況繼續禱告，求主賜下平安並醫治這城！

Dear mission partners:

Praise the Lord that Sindy has completed most of her furlough assignment in California, thank you very much for all the sharing opportunities from different churches. It was so nice that we had chances to fellowship with different brothers and sisters during our furlough.

Your prayers, support, love, and caring are deeply appreciated. It is very encouraging that many have caught the mission vision and some are considering paying a visit to Guayaquil, Ecuador in the near future. It seems God is working hard for this field. Please pray that we can coordinate with our Lord as He is sending in more short-term mission teams. We do need more wisdom from the above for further guidance. On the other hand, thank God that all ministries in Guayaquil were on schedule in the past two month. It was sure due to God’s grace and help from brothers and sisters there. God is so good!

While Sindy was taking her furlough in the Bay Area at the end of October, she received news that her mother had to be hospitalized in Los Angeles. The hospitalization was due to serious inflammation in her knees. After two days of treatment in hospital, Sindy’s mother was transferred to a nursing home and she is still in a process of rehabilitation. Please pray for her recovery and further living arrangement in the future.

Now, we are in Hong Kong for our furlough. Special thanks to CCM’s Foreign Missions Department for forming a short-term mission team to Guayaquil to support the ministry, so that we can make our trip to Hong Kong. Besides sharing mission ministry in different churches in Hong Kong, we would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the 90 th birthdayof Derek’s mother with relatives and family members.

Prayer requests:

Please pray for the adjustment (the weather is hot there) and the ministry of the supporting short-term mission team to Guayaquil from December 5 to January 9. Besides weekly routine work, such as sermon, singspiration, and visitation, they are going to hold a two-day English children’s program at the end of December.
Please continue to remember the rest of our furlough journey in Hong Kong as well as Sindy in Los Angeles. Sindy is planning to arrive at Guayaquil on January 7, and Derek will return on January 17 as he has to get some important documentation done in Taiwan.
Thank God that 4 short-term mission teams have been confirmed for the year of 2020; please pray for all the coordination and wisdom from our Lord for a better preparation and partnership with these teams.
Please pray for the situation in Hong Kong; may the peace and healing from our Lord be with the city!
